We've all done it. Being someone different at work to who you are at home. Leaving bits out, because you think your boss or customers won't value those parts of you. So the person they get to deal with is a filtered, toned-down version of you. Not the whole of you. And that's a shame, because it means you twisting yourself out of shape to try to fit who you think they ought to want you to be.
But what if you only bring the whole of your value when you bring the whole of yourself to work?

Around the turn of the century (yes, I'm THAT old), after a pretty successful career I found myself working in a job I hated and that meant nothing to me - and that nearly broke me. I wasn't enjoying myself, and frankly I was a pain to be around.
